(Oh, dear… Well, pardon my tl;dr.
- 2. Okay, I’ve got a bit of a long story here… Rhiya and Hlassa are both characters from a completely separate story of mine, an original fantasy world I’ve been working with for several years. I need to have a particular character already set when playing a game like Skyrim, or else I agonize over the choices and dialogue options offered to me and it’s no fun at all. I was exploring Rhiya - that’s her canon name, too, I didn’t even have to change it - when I got Skyrim, so I decided to play her as a Khajiit, since she’s of a non-human, feline nature in other-canon, and I had a great time with it. Then, since she and the-character-who-became-Hlassa - other-canon name Hibelle, forgive me if I ever use it by accident - are most often together, I decided to add Hlassa as a Nord after playing her in Oblivion. The backstory between them just kind of appeared during the Shivering Isles plot in-game, and I’m happily running with it.
Rhiya is the perkiest, most affectionate character I have, but - as in other-canon - it’s one big front to keep her from facing reality. She runs from her problems, and constantly meets new people and makes new friends to distract herself. Really, I ought to be bugging more of you with her, but she’s hiding right now…
I try to play Hlassa seriously - this big, tough, busty ex-mercenary who doesn’t emote because she’s constantly afraid of going too far - but it doesn’t always work. Fortunately, even when she goofs off, it’s usually within acceptable bounds. I’m trying to let the Isles’ influence be a real thing, but I’m not sure how well it’s working so far… we’ll see.
- 5. Headcanons? Rhiya still has that letter Wadjeta sent her. Hlassa is attracted to muscles and cute, both in excess.
- 6. I love Rhiya’s speech pattern. Hlassa is great when bounced off of cute characters, at least for me, ‘cause I do love it when she’s nice despite her deadpan.
- 8. Clothing change… for Eradil? Well… Now I’m imagining her with her hair up, if that counts, and thinking it’d look cute. *shrug*
- 14. Best moment? In-RP, Rhiya getting that letter from Wadjeta, and Hlassa meeting a non-hostile Daedra to talk to. XD Out of RP, Rhiya’s first team-victory fighting alongside Hlassa way back when, and Hlassa seeing her brother off on his own wanderings.)
